ArtTable Talks Tech: Institutions

The first in a series of panel discussions that addressed the dynamic changes, new opportunities, and significant ongoing challenges in technology in the visual arts community today. The inaugural conversation explored how technology is affecting curatorial content, engagement, and communication within institutions and in relation to museum audiences and supporters. Panelists included Amy Heibel, vice president, technology, web and digital media, Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Emma Reeves, creative director, MOCAtv; and Sarah Stifler, director of communications, UCLA Hammer Museum. The panel was moderated by Susana Bautista, deputy director, Pacific-Asia Museum, and author of Museums in the Digital Age.
