Aguilar, executive director, El Museo del Barrio in New York; Alyson Baker, director, Aldrich Museum in Ridgefield, Connecticut; and Claudia Gould, Helen Goldsmith Menschel Director, the Jewish Museum in New York City—discussed the particular challenges they have faced in the first year of their appointments and how their careers have prepared them for their new jobs.
