Career Development Roundtable
November 1, 2013

The Career Development Roundtable gives graduate students in arts
administration and art history programs an opportunity to meet with experienced
professional women working in the visual arts to discuss career issues. It is also
a chance for students to meet their peers in other graduate programs including
those at Columbia, NYU, Pratt, FIT, Sotheby’s Institute, Christie’s, City College,
and more. It is a remarkable networking and learning opportunity. Tables are
organized by an aspect of the field, like appraiser, archivist/librarian, art advisor,
art fairs, art publications and media, auction house, collection management,
conservation, curator/art historian, development, education and arts
programming, gallery/dealer, museum and nonprofit directors,
PR/marketing/social media, and public/civic art.
