Dorothy Dávila
Director, Creative Partnerships, Public Art Fund

Over her twenty-five year career, Dorothy Dávila has cultivated a passion for art and culture at institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Harvard Art Museums; and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA). Currently she is Director, Creative Partnerships at Public Art Fund, where she leads strategic planning, curatorial, and project management to realize public art projects in civic spaces, including JFK Terminal 6. Dorothy has worked in roles spanning operational to curatorial, recently serving as Deputy Director for Operations at Headlands Center for the Arts, where she oversaw finance, operations, and facilities for the renowned art center and artist residency program. In her previous role as Director of Program at YBCA, Dorothy oversaw the visual and performing arts programs within a socially-engaged multidisciplinary arts institution. At YBCA she managed dozens of exhibitions, projects, and public art installations, curating Tom Sachs: Space Program: Europa in 2016 and co-curating Edgar Arceneaux with Lucía Sanromán in 2017. She has served on ArtTable’s national Board of Directors since 2019 and on the Board of the San Francisco-based arts organization The Lab as Treasurer since 2022.
