An independent curator and renowned philanthropist with 35 years of experience working in the field of Native arts, with expertise in art markets and curatorial projects. In her philanthropic efforts, she and her husband founded The William and Ellen Taubman Foundation. She had previously been a guest curator for the exhibition Changing Hands: Art Without Reservation 3: Contemporary Native North American Art from the Northeast and Southeast (Changing Hands is a three-part project that spans one decade from 2002-2012) at the Museum of Arts and Design, New York City. In addition to her guest curatorial background, she was the vice president at Sotheby’s for american indian/tribal art from 73-98, and Curator at Masco Corporation from 88-92. In addition to her work as a Curator and Independent Consultant, she has also served as a longtime volunteer at various Native markets across the United States, more specifically the Southwest Association of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico held each August, where she regularly a Classification Manager and a Judge. She has also served on the Fellowship Committee for the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art.
