Lucia Roldan (she/her)
Development & Impact Initiatives

Lucia has worked with ArtTable for the last almost three years as a Grant Writer Consultant and Education and Community Engagement Coordinator. She is a skilled fundraiser with over eighteen years of experience spanning strategic development, grant writing, special events, and membership management for leading art organizations in the U.S. and Europe. In 2004, she was the Development and Grant Writing Director at the Circulo de Bellas Artes Art Center. After that, she held the position of Head of Development and Special Events at the Lazaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid, Spain, where she tripled the income obtained in four years and developed successful strategies to attract new audiences to the museum. In New York, she worked as Director of Development and Finance at the artist residency Flux Factory and has collaborated with organizations such as Public Art Fund, The Noguchi Museum, Independent Curators International (ICI), the American Federation of Arts, and the James Howell Foundation. She has also developed partnerships with the Art Program of the Department of Transportation of New York City, the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), and The Smithsonian American Art Museum, among many others. Lucia holds a Heyman Program for Philanthropy and Fundraising – Intensive in Fundraising at NYU, an M.A. in Arts Administration, a B.A. in Journalism, and a B.A. in Humanities. She is a regular lecturer on Fundraising for the Arts for arts administration programs in universities, museums, and other cultural organizations. Lucia looks forward to continuing to boost and elevate the ArtTable Fellowship Program and the Career Development Roundtable and bringing support to so many meaningful ArtTable programs and initiatives.
