DC | Layers + Lines Artists Walking Tour

September 25, 2019 | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Image: Nekisha Durrett, Up ‘til Now Pictured Right: Kate Raudenbush, Axis Mundi

Join the Golden Triangle BID for an artists’ talk and walking tour of LAYERS + LINES with Nekisha Durrett and Kate Raudenbush. The artists will discuss the inspiration for their artworks and their creative processes.

The tour will last approximately 1 hour and start at the Connecticut Avenue overlook. After the tour, join us for happy hour (dutch treat) and catch-up with fellow ArtTable members!

LAYERS + LINES brings together two pieces of art— Axis Mundi by Kate Raudenbush at Connecticut and K Street, and Up ‘til Now by Nekisha Durrett at the Connecticut Avenue Overlook. The exhibition explores the layers of history in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, the geometries of our built environment, and the lines connecting us to our community.

Thank you Karyn Miller for organizing this event.

ArtTable is a 501.c.3 organization. All programs are non-refundable.
