Tour of Candice Lin’s “Lithium Sex Demons In The Factory” with Summer Guthery
Canal Projects 351 Canal St New York, NY 10013Summer Guthery and Canal Projects introduce "Lithium Sex Demons in the Factory," the inaugural New York solo show for Los Angeles artist Candice Lin. This project, a collaborative effort between Canal Projects and the 14th Gwangju Biennale, involves the recreation of a lithium battery factory as a site-specific installation. This endeavor seamlessly extends the artist’s persistent exploration of themes of globalization, intricate trade networks, the nature of materials, and the dynamics of labor.
